Ada Lake!!

Wow, what an amazing place!!! The Serbs, despite not having a sea (bordering with 8 countries but no sea), have transformed their large river – the Sava – into an artificial lake, making it one of the coolest spots around!! It’s packed with attractions, including numerous restaurants and food stalls, bike rentals with trails around the lake, a water park, a golf park, wall climbing, a mock ski slope, scooter rentals, horseback riding, bungee jumping, plenty of beach chairs, and umbrellas. It’s super cool!

After parking the car, we rented bikes. Ori Adina, our little ninja, pedaled like a pro and didn’t complain about her sore butt, even though she has the least padding among us. Roni Marie enjoyed herself in the bike wagon. We cycled along a bike path, returned to the lakeshore, and were absolutely amazed by this place!! We returned the bikes and headed to the river. I, like an irresponsible 16-year-old, couldn’t resist jumping into the water. It was so much fun! And the best part is, all this goodness is just a 10-minute drive from our house!!
