The Natural History Center of Serbia is an unexpected gem we stumbled upon while driving on the main road near Svilajnac. The museum is divided into two parts, each offering unique experiences.
The indoor section showcases animal skeletons, stuffed animals, precious stones, and informative presentations about our planet. It provides a fascinating glimpse into the world of natural history.
Outside, you’ll discover the Dino Park, home to life-sized dinosaur replicas. At the center stands a towering volcano mountain that you can enter to watch informative presentations about volcanoes. There’s also a play area for kids with baby dinosaur structures to climb on, as well as tables for those who enjoy coloring, featuring printed dinosaur images waiting to be filled with color.
While souvenir shops may not always be a favorite, this one pleasantly surprised with a variety of small and affordable dinosaur-themed items.
And, of course, there’s the grand finale: the restaurant. It seems that every fun place in Serbia comes with a place to eat, and this one didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious, providing a perfect ending to your visit to the Natural History Center of Serbia.
