Even though you probably see this building every time you’re on your way to the airport, it’s easy to miss it because you might not know that it’s actually a museum!
The Museum of Aviation is a very interesting museum with a wide variety of airplanes, both big and small, including military and commercial planes, as well as helicopters.
There is an outdoor section with a large display of airplanes that you can explore free of charge.
The building itself is beautiful and has a history of serving as a place for airplane repair.
Inside the museum, you can learn about the history of Serbian/Yugoslavian aviation and see many more planes, with some even available for climbing on.
I highly recommend trying the flight simulator if you’re already there. It feels very realistic and is definitely worth the extra cost.
