Slankamen is a small village on the Danube River, not far from Belgrade. We went to see the Monument of the Slankamen Battle, and from there, we had a nice view.
After visiting the monument, we drove down to the Danube and took a walk along the shore. We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of giant shells we found there. The terrain was muddy and soft. The place is beautiful, so take your time to stroll along the Danube shore, and perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to find a shell with a pearl inside…
